Since the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, civil society and human rights organizations in the country are working intensively to document war crimes in the country and human rights violations in the occupied territories. In addition, they continue to protect the rule of law in Ukraine. What methods does the does civil society use in their fight for justice and what are the possibilities of bringing war criminals to justice?
In this seminar you will meet Onysiia Syniuk, legal analyst at Human Rights Centre ZMINA, who despite the risks it entails remain in Ukraine, and continue the fight for justice of those affected by the war.
