Såhär skriver filmskaparna om handlingen:
Who is Mustafa Dzhemilev? Political and social activist, according to Wikipedia. But what is the real spirit behind his legendary figure, confident walk and silent smile? Behind of it – the years of confrontation with the Soviet regime: 15 years of imprisonment in prison camps, the world’s longest hunger strike, which lasted 303 days, the struggle for Crimean Tatars return to their homeland in the 90’s and current time, after the temporary occupation of the Crimea by Russia.
Documentary movie “Mustafa” introduces viewers to the life by Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Dzhemilev, “immerse” them into his life, presented in the film game scenes, reveals his character through numerous interviews with human rights activists and dissidents in 5 countries. Have a good trip!
